Heather's World of NeedleworkOne of my favorite hobbies is needlework. When I say "needlework," I am mainly talking about embellishing a woven fabric using a needle and thread. I like to work on evenweave fabrics, so for me this includes counted cross-stitch, hardanger, drawn thread, pulled thread, blackwork, stumpwork and samplers. I've also started knitting, which uses two needles. =) There are a couple other things I enjoy that don't really fit the definition of "needlework"--shuttle tatting, bobbin lace, beading and Temari. I've known how to tat since mid-1999, but I've only had one bobbin lace class in mid-2000. A real beginner! There's not much going on here right now; the site got to be too difficult to keep up with. For the latest updates, you probably want to visit (click the needles): If you're interested in older stuff, or round robins, though, by all means click the needles below!
