Heather's World of Needlework

One of my favorite hobbies is needlework. When I say "needlework," I am mainly talking about embellishing a woven fabric using a needle and thread. I like to work on evenweave fabrics, so for me this includes counted cross-stitch, hardanger, drawn thread, pulled thread, blackwork, stumpwork and samplers. I've also started knitting, which uses two needles. =) There are a couple other things I enjoy that don't really fit the definition of "needlework"--shuttle tatting, bobbin lace, beading and Temari. I've known how to tat since mid-1999, but I've only had one bobbin lace class in mid-2000. A real beginner!
